Create your perfect lifeboat in 5 easy steps

During my internship at Global Maritime, I made a number of parametric models, where all the dimensions are driven by a small number of key parameters.

This model of a lifeboat, modelled on the Norsafe Davit range, can be resized with the use of 3 key parameters. This allows the user to create a 'looks-like' model of their chosen size of lifeboat in seconds, saving valuable time.

I created the model using Autodesk Inventor using top-down modelling techniques.
